The Aspen Park Financial team is deeply committed to community involvement and supporting various organizations and causes:
Samaritan Center in Syracuse
Peter has been involved with the Samaritan Center over the past ten years, serving on the Board twice from 2015 to 2017 and from 2018 to the present. He regularly brings a group of Northwestern Mutual advisors and their staff to the Center to help serve dinner, providing a wonderful group experience while serving the needy in the Syracuse community. The Samaritan Center provides two homecooked meals per day, every day, serving over 120,000 meals last year to individuals and families without any preconditions.
Crouse Health Foundation
Peter serves on the board of the Crouse Health Foundation. Through his role, he contributes to advancing healthcare initiatives and improving the well-being of individuals in the region. The Crouse Health Foundation was established in 1974 as the fundraising arm of Crouse Health, governed by a voluntary board of directors responsible for the investment, management, and administration of all funds and other property given to Crouse. Their mission is to support Crouse Health in providing the best in patient care and promoting community health.
Central New York Community Foundation Finance Committee
Peter also serves on the Central New York Community Foundation Finance Committee, where he lends his expertise to financial matters that ultimately impact the broader community. The Central New York Community Foundation is a public charity established in 1927 that turns community dollars into community change. It receives contributions from donors, manages them to grow over time, and then distributes funding to address the region’s greatest needs. The foundation has invested more than $270 million in community projects benefiting Central New York and serves as a civic leader, convener, and sponsor of strategic initiatives fostering a thriving and equitable region.
Central NY Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Council
Nick is a member of the Central NY Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Council, a collection of expert advisors partnering to provide insight and advice on advisor engagement. The Council's volunteer members work tirelessly throughout the year to disseminate information that assists their peers in effectively identifying and carrying out their clients’ charitable planning needs.
Young Life
Tim is involved with Young Life, a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all 50 of the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world meeting them where they are at in their life.
Cazenovia Lion's Club
The Cazenovia Lions Club is a dedicated community organization with a rich history of service and philanthropy. Nick, a longstanding member and past president, has contributed significantly to the club's early childhood vision screening and fireworks committees. The club's core belief is that the community is shaped by our collective actions, exemplified by their motto "We Serve." The Cazenovia Lions Club's impact extends beyond events and donations, embodying a spirit of service that strengthens the fabric of the community.
